Arizonans in need of a COVID-19 test can visit one of two drive-thru testing locations: Bashas’ Food City 12 at 2124 McDowell Road in Phoenix; and Bashas’ Food City 10 at 1342 E Main Street in Mesa. Starting on Tuesday, February 15, the PathogenDx-FDX-Bashas’ Food City sponsored testing sites will be open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“We, along with our partners Formula Diagnostics and Bashas’ Food City, feel a responsibility to help the uninsured in our local communities, which we not only work in, but live in,” said PathogenDx Co-founder and CEO Milan Patel. “We will be providing Arizonians access to a crucial tool in our fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and dedicating our time and resources at these two centrally located testing sites in Phoenix and Mesa to help ensure the health and safety of our communities.”

FDX CEO Samantha Esser added, “We are committed to providing widespread access to health services needed in our communities. More testing means more detection and less spread, and less spread means a safer and healthier community. Together, we can stanch COVID and help make our way back to normal life.”

Individuals do not need to make an appointment, and tests will be available at no cost. Those insured should bring their insurance card. Those without insurance will need to provide their social security or sign an attestation stating that they are uninsured. Participants will receive a text and email once test results are available, and will be able to access results online via a patient portal.
