In celebration of the veggie-less sandwich, Hardee’s is helping to
plant millions of vegetables nationwide

FRANKLIN, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hardee’s®, known for quality you can taste, today announced the return
of the iconic Hardee’s Original Roast Beef Sandwich. Back by popular
demand, the fan-favorite menu item will return to participating
restaurants beginning today with a 2 for $5 regular size value promo.
And to welcome the veggie-free offering, Hardee’s is launching a
campaign to “Save the Veggies” — in celebration of the return of the
Hardee’s Original Roast Beef Sandwich, Hardee’s will make the pledge to
plant millions of vegetables nationwide.

Hardee’s knows there’s a time and a place for veggies, but not on a
Hardee’s Original Roast Beef Sandwich — made with slow-cooked beef,
hand-dipped in rich au jus, and veggie free — cause’ it tastes better.
In partnership with the American Community Gardening Association, the
restaurant will help plant more than 10 million veggies nationwide.

“Hardee’s is inspired by its neighbors and local community,” said Jenna
Folk, Director of Brand Marketing, Hardee’s. “That’s why the brand is
partnering with the American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) to
help plant veggies in community gardens nationwide. ACGA is a nonprofit
that helps communities by planning local gardens across the country, and
together, Hardee’s and ACGA recognize the value of bringing the
community together.”

The Hardee’s Original Roast Beef Sandwich consists of slow-cooked beef,
hand-dipped in rich au jus, and zero veggies, between two seeded buns.
The protein-filled delight is available for 2 for $5 and will be in
participating locations beginning this month. (Offer available for a
limited time after regular breakfast hours. Prices and participation may
vary by location. Tax not included.)
