Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-Joon Interacts with Employees through Sports

activity.
Hyosung
(KRX:004800) held “One Mind Sports Festival” on a grass field in its
Anyang factory on May 11, with about 3,400 employees and their family
members participating.
“Nothing can beat tight teamwork in team sports, no matter how excellent
skills an individual player has,” Chairman Cho said to the participants.
He emphasized Hyosung is one team. “All of us are united under the name
of Hyosung,” he said.
Chairman Cho Hyun-Joon engaged with employees by playing for Hyosung
Heavy Industries against Hyosung TNC in the soccer finals.
The sports festival, which marked its 17th anniversary this year, is
part of Hyosung’s family-friendly management to build its employees’
sense of connectedness to and pride in their companies by giving them
and their family members a time to spend together for Family Month.
The event was held for the first time after the spinoff of Hyosung Group
last year. Also, for the first time in a long time, employees of Hyosung
Corporation, the holding company, and its affiliates — Hyosung TNC,
Hyosung Advanced Materials, Hyosung Heavy Industries and Hyosung
Chemical — got together.
Employees and their families enjoyed the sports day which featured
tournament competitions in soccer, group jump rope and relay, and family
picnic events including caricature drawing, henna & face painting, a kid
café, children’s fun games and performances.
