Steven Weinstein appointed Managing Partner of Riemer & Braunstein
BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Steven Weinstein, a member of the Executive Committee of Riemer &
Braunstein and the chair of the firm’s real estate finance practice
area, has been appointed as the firm’s managing partner and chair of the
firm’s Executive Committee. Weinstein will succeed Stanley Riemer, 72,
who has been the managing partner for over 40 years, during which time
the firm has become a national leader in the representation of financial
institutions in real estate and commercial finance with six offices
nationwide.
The change in management is part of a planned transition by the firm and
Stanley Riemer. Riemer will maintain his relationship with the firm,
working with Weinstein and the other partners, until his retirement
later this year.

The firm intends to continue its recent, significant growth in the real
estate development and real estate and commercial finance practice
areas. Weinstein, working with the Executive Committee of Richard
Lefkowitz, Kevin Murtagh, Kevin Lyons, Matthew Nash and Dennis McKenna,
has already been playing a key role in those areas as he most recently
oversaw the staffing and opening of the firm’s new Miami office. That
office joins offices in Boston, New York, Chicago, New Jersey and
Burlington, MA.
